Take care. I'm sure it's not cancer, the Internet makes it seem like even the most minor symptoms of ANYTHING can and will escalate to full-blown cancer, but I understand not being able to get the fear out of your head until a doctor specifically tells you it's not cancer. I tend to be very anxious when I can't immediately see the doctor for weird sensations of pain that I should get checked (gotta love the American healthcare system), to the point where I've had minor colds and become concerned I could die just from that (because of course, I've seen web and news articles where people have supposedly immediately died just from having the sniffles even without being immunocompromised in any, of course they tend to fixate on those extreme and unfortunate example).
Like you said, worrying about what it could be is a waste of energy, might as well just live with the pain until you can actually get it checked by a professional. Hope you feel better!
